The innovations of shoes today have really improved so much. Today, Nike and Apple has created the Nike+ chip which can be placed on your shoes so that you can track your running pace and how you should workout. Nike sells Nike+ certified shoes that are specifically used in conjunction with the Nike+ chip. Likewise there are many pouches with different designs that you can attach to the laces on your Asic sneakers. With some resourcefulness and ingenuity, you can save some money from needing to buy a Nike+ shoe and you wouldn’t have to use those large, clunky pouches.

There are many styles that you can do to install your Nike+ chip into your pair of Asic sneakers, some may even require you to alter your Asic sneakers but I will give you this simple method to manage that without having to cut or alter anything. Begin by cutting approximately two inches of tape and roll it into a tube with the adhesive facing outwards. The final tube you made should be about 1 inch long and about ¼ inches in diameter. Stick this tube to the white, rounded edge at the back of the Nike+ chip and you can set it aside to prepare your pair of Asic sneakers. Get one of your shoes and loosen the crisscrossed laces. Lower the tongue of your shoe at about ¾ inches lower than the laces. This is essential to do beforehand because this is where you will place your Nike+ chip. Take your Nike+ chip and place it in between the crisscrossed laces and the tongue of your shoe. Make sure that your Nike+ chip is placed neither too low that you wouldn’t see it nor too high that it would easily fall off. Then press your Nike+ chip onto the tongue of the shoe to stick the adhesive tightly on and finally, tighten your laces and you’re good to go.

With this simple method, you can remove your Nike+ chip as easily as you can put it on easily. Likewise, there are many methods that you can try out and this video below will show you another method of doing this on your pair of Asic sneakers.

Trying to run a half marathon can be a grueling feat for any novice runner but with enough training, practice and your ever reliable Asic sneakers, your body can learn to do it. Specifically, at 13.1 miles of running, it can be really tiring and impossible if you are not used to running long distances at one time. However, if you have the patience, determination, persistence, will, the right equipment and the resolve, you can always achieve this. Running in a half marathon is very difficult but never impossible.

Keep in mind first what kind of half marathon you want to join in. There are numerous half marathons with different styles and obstacles that you can encounter. Some may half hilly runs while some may have plain, flat and fast runs. Likewise, determine where you want to run, whether if it is near your location or in a foreign country. Remember, that in any sport, the proper equipment can spell success or failure. You should consider buying moisture wicking gear as it will keep your body cool and your skin dry while doing your half marathon. These gears may be expensive but if you’re constantly doing long runs, these are good investments. For your shoes, choose Asic sneakers because most of its designs have high arches for support and are comfortable for extended periods of wearing. The right shoes are important to increase your stamina and endurance while minimizing the risks of injuries. Once you have completed everything so far, start training three months prior to the run. Your body needs to be conditioned to run 13.1 miles during the race. Train for about four times a week and leave a day interval between each training to allow your body to rest. At the start of training, try to ease up and do simple runs to loosen up your body and let it get used to running. When your body is used to it, start doing speed runs and easy runs alternatively. As you improve, increase the distances that you run and when you’re able to run 13.1 miles easily, train yourself to go even further. During the last week of the training, before the half marathon run, ease up on the training and simply do runs that would loosen you up. Finally, before running, make sure that your mind, equipment and Asic sneakers are prepped.

Doing this kind of running is never an easy feat but following these simple steps, you can also develop your body to run that long and that far. Of course, with your Asic sneakers, you can surely do that without need to fear or worry about injuries.

It is really fun to jog with friends or even by yourself as long as you wear Asic sneakers. This brand of sneakers is really comfortable to wear, not to mention trendy and fashionable. I don’t know about you but sneakers for me are multi-purpose as some I use for casual wear, some just to show off and some for jogging. With the comfort and protection that Asic sneakers provide me, I’d personally choose this over any running shoes. Unfortunately though, there is one problem that most runners encounter even if we own the best shoes out there and that is the smelly shoes and feet. It is a simple problem that can bring so many headaches to you and those around you. It may be a simple problem but the solution is not as simple and will take you some hard work to remove.

The first that I do after running or even just walking is to air my Asic sneakers out. Many people commit the mistakes of keeping their shoes in the closet right after removing them or putting in the laces into the shoe to make it look neater. This will trap the smell and moisture inside the shoes and leaving it there for some time will let it sink into the shoe. Additionally, the more you do this, the smellier your shoes are going to be and the harder it is to remove them. When I wash my Asic sneakers, I prepare a solution of water and neutral cleaner such as liquid dish-washing detergent or any mild detergent. Then, I remove the laces and inserts and rinse the shoes inside and out while using a soft brush and cleaning solution to scrub every dirt, grime and marks on every part of the shoe including the liners and insoles. When it is clean, I rinse the shoes, stuff them with paper to speed up the drying process, don’t use newspapers though because of the ink, and I let them drip-dry outside. I usually throw the laces in together with my clothes and the inserts are left to air dry outside. You can also use baking soda to the inserts if they’re really, really smelly. After everything is dry, I put my Asic sneakers back together and they’re clean and stink-free as if they were new.

It usually takes me one washing to get the smell out but if yours doesn’t, try a second or even a third washing. If all else fails, too bad, buy a new one. Remember though, when wearing shoes, always wear socks to keep most of the moisture and bacteria trapped inside the socks.

The Asics brand is a popular brand of sneakers when it comes to working out, especially for running or jogging. When you run, your shoes are essential, to help you run faster and decreases the risks of injuries. Buying a specific pair of Asic sneakers for whatever you plan on doing is important and you also need to know what type of feet you have to be accommodated by a pair of Asic sneakers.

It is very easy to determine what kind of feet you have. Basically there are three kinds of feet and these three types are based on how arched your foot is. To determine your foot type, dip your foot into a shallow pan filled with water then take out your foot and allow the excess water to drip off. Take a flattened paper grocery bag and step on it with your slightly wet feet. Your foot will make a silhouette of your feet on the grocery bag. If you have flat feet, your entire foot will be outlined on the bag. If the middle part of the sole of your foot will barely touch the grocery bag, then you have high-arched feet. Finally, you have normal feet if you will be right between those two extremes.

You should consider the type of workouts you plan to do most. You should take note where you will do most of your running, whether on soft soil or hard concrete surface because there is usually a difference between Asic sneakers there, difference mostly on the insoles. Likewise, you should invest in more expensive Asic sneakers if you plan on usually running long distances. To determine which pair of Asic sneakers is perfect for you, there is a Shoe Fit Chart in the Asics website where you can input your foot-type and the exercises you plan on doing.

When you know which pair is right for you, you can always visit your local sporting goods stores that sell Asic sneakers. Try on your chosen pair to personally feel them and walk around with them. The pair you’re wearing shouldn’t be too constricted to allow some space in the toe area but it should be tight enough to prevent from sliding and causing blisters.

Using the right pair of Asic sneakers, you are sure to run faster, longer and farther and this will undoubtedly lessen the chances of injuries occurring. There are tons of Asic sneakers to choose from and you’re sure to love any pair.
