The innovations of shoes today have really improved so much. Today, Nike and Apple has created the Nike+ chip which can be placed on your shoes so that you can track your running pace and how you should workout. Nike sells Nike+ certified shoes that are specifically used in conjunction with the Nike+ chip. Likewise there are many pouches with different designs that you can attach to the laces on your Asic sneakers. With some resourcefulness and ingenuity, you can save some money from needing to buy a Nike+ shoe and you wouldn’t have to use those large, clunky pouches.

There are many styles that you can do to install your Nike+ chip into your pair of Asic sneakers, some may even require you to alter your Asic sneakers but I will give you this simple method to manage that without having to cut or alter anything. Begin by cutting approximately two inches of tape and roll it into a tube with the adhesive facing outwards. The final tube you made should be about 1 inch long and about ¼ inches in diameter. Stick this tube to the white, rounded edge at the back of the Nike+ chip and you can set it aside to prepare your pair of Asic sneakers. Get one of your shoes and loosen the crisscrossed laces. Lower the tongue of your shoe at about ¾ inches lower than the laces. This is essential to do beforehand because this is where you will place your Nike+ chip. Take your Nike+ chip and place it in between the crisscrossed laces and the tongue of your shoe. Make sure that your Nike+ chip is placed neither too low that you wouldn’t see it nor too high that it would easily fall off. Then press your Nike+ chip onto the tongue of the shoe to stick the adhesive tightly on and finally, tighten your laces and you’re good to go.
With this simple method, you can remove your Nike+ chip as easily as you can put it on easily. Likewise, there are many methods that you can try out and this video below will show you another method of doing this on your pair of Asic sneakers.
